Product information "Quartz watch tester Analyzer Twin Witschi"
Compact test station with large LCD graphic display for all measurements on analogue or digital quartz watches.
Unit with integrated microphone and standing microphone for mechanical watches, manually rotatable into all positions.
The measurement processes are largely automated.
The device can be used to perform the following measurements:
1. Measurement of accuracy for analogue and LCD quartz watches
Measurement via the quartz frequency (acoustic, capacitive, or via supply current) measurement via motor pulses or LCD operating frequency. When testing the accuracy, inhibition is taken into account.
2. Measurement of accuracy of mechanical watches
Rate measurement with the 7 most common beat numbers.
3. Scope - oscillographic display of the current pulses
Positive and negative pulses are displayed alternatingly
4. Power consumption measurement
Instantaneous measurement of the IC current.
Total power consumption measurement with automatic and manual measurement period selection as a function of the pulse period of the stepping motor. Measuring range 1 nA to 20 mA.
5. Ohm (resistance) measurement
Measurement of the coil resistance as well as the detection of shorts and opens.
The measuring range is between 10 Ohm and 10 MOhm,
measuring voltage max. 0.3 V.
6. Battery test
Measurement of the battery voltage with 2 MOhm, KOhm, or 100 Ohm.
Measuring range 0 - 3.5V.
Power supply for quartz watches
Determination of the start-up voltage and observation the hands in the built-in mirror. Supply voltage adjustable from 0.1 - 3.5 V.
8. Pulse generator
Feeding of the stepping motor with programmable pulses. Testing
of acoustic signallers (buzzer).
9. Long-term recording of the rate and current measurements,
e.g., for testing calendar and hand function.
Aluminium housing with pivoting, retractable LCD monitor.
Includes:
2 measurement cables with test probes (4351902)
2 contact brackets (208120)
1 movement holder (4 211 071)
1 power adaptor (209484)
Options (see accessories table on the following pages):
Printing of display with thermal printer (213290)
Autoprint PC software for transferring the measurement results to a PC (214444)
GPS receiver for calibration and real-time clock (214970)
