Compact Entry-Level Roll Forming Machine

Durston Agile C110 Combination Roll Forming Machine with 4:1 Gear Ratio

The Agile C110 from Durston Tools is a compact, hand-operated combination roll forming machine for sheet metal, square wire, and half-round wire. It is technically based on the proven DRM series but features a slightly lighter frame and roller gap adjustment via a T-handle on the top. This makes it particularly suitable for workshops looking for a versatile roller that takes up minimal space.

The 110 mm-wide main rollers combine three areas: 4 half-round grooves at 2, 3, 4, and 5 mm; a 50 mm flat area for sheet metal and pattern rolling; and 9 square wire grooves up to 7 mm. Sheet metal up to 5.5 mm thick can be rolled. The rollers are induction-hardened to 64 HRC and precision-ground.

The 4:1 reduction gearbox with two specially designed gears ensures smooth operation with reduced effort. The fully supported bearing blocks contribute to a clean rolling result. The bearings are self-lubricating and maintenance-free. The upper gears are protected by a guard.

The Agile C110 does not have side roller extensions, nor can they be retrofitted.

For safe operation, the roller should be securely mounted on a suitable roller stand or a sturdy workbench. For significant reductions in cross-sectional area, it is recommended to anneal the material between individual rolling passes.
