Durston DRM C130 Single Motorized Rolling Mill, Combination Rolling Mill with 220 V Electric Drive

The DRM C130 Single from Durston Tools is a motorized combination rolling mill for rolling sheet metal and square wire. It is based on the proven DRM series and is designed for professional use in goldsmith workshops and manufacturing facilities. The frame is made of cast iron, ensuring high stability and rigidity.

The main rollers are designed as combination rollers and feature a flat section for rolling sheet metal and patterns, along with 11 square wire grooves ranging from 8 mm to 1 mm. Sheet metal up to 6 mm thick can be rolled, and wire up to 8 mm. The side roller extensions come standard with 4 half-round grooves in 4 mm, 3 mm, 2 mm, and 1.5 mm, for example, for the production of ring rails. Additional extension rollers with other profiles are available as an option.

The 1.1-kW electric motor is designed for continuous operation. The rolling speed is continuously adjustable from 5 to 20 rpm, and operation is very quiet. The rollers are induction-hardened to 64 HRC, with a hardening depth of 6 mm on the roller body. This ensures a particularly long service life.

Safety features include an emergency stop switch, safety bars on the front and rear of the roller, and protective covers over the extension rollers and the upper gears.

The roller should be mounted on a suitable base frame with sufficient load-bearing capacity. For significant reductions in cross-section, it is recommended to anneal the material between individual rolling passes.
