Product information "DRM130 Double Durston Twin-Engine Combination Roller"
Durston DRM 130 Double Motorized Roller, Combination Roller with 220 V Electric Drive
The DRM 130 Double from Durston Tools is a motor-driven double roller with two roller heads on a single machine. The left roller head is equipped with plain flat rollers, while the right roller head features grooved rollers for square wire. This allows sheet metal and wire to be rolled on a single machine without the need for retooling. It is based on the proven DRM series and is designed for professional use in workshops, manufacturing facilities, and training centers.
The flat rollers provide a continuous rolling surface across the entire width of 130 mm for sheet metal up to 6 mm thick. The wire rollers feature 19 square wire grooves ranging from 10 mm to 1 mm. Two standard sets of extension rolls on both sides provide a total of 7 half-round profiles in 8, 6, 4, 3, 3, 2, and 1.5 mm, for example, for the production of ring rails. Additional extension rolls are available as options.
The 1.1 kW electric motor is designed for continuous operation. The speed is infinitely variable, the direction of rotation can be switched between forward and reverse, and operation is very quiet. The frame is made of cast iron and ensures high stability and rigidity. The rollers are induction-hardened to 64 HRC; the flat rollers have a hardening depth of 6 mm.
Safety features include two emergency stop switches, safety bars at the front and rear, and protective covers over the extension rollers at both ends as well as over the upper gears.
The rolling mill should be mounted on a suitable base frame with sufficient load-bearing capacity. For larger cross-sectional reductions, it is recommended to anneal the material between individual rolling passes.
