Product information "DRM F130 SSP Motorized Sheet Metal Roller"
Durston DRM F130 Single Motorized Roller, Flat Roller with 220 V Electric Drive
The DRM F130 Single from Durston Tools is a motor-driven flat roller for rolling sheet metal. It is based on the proven DRM series and is designed for professional use in goldsmith workshops and manufacturing facilities. The frame is made of cast iron, ensuring high stability and rigidity.
The main rollers are designed as pure flat rollers and provide a continuous rolling surface across the entire width of 130 mm. Sheet metal up to 6 mm thick can be rolled. The side roller extensions come standard with four half-round grooves measuring 4 mm, 3 mm, 2 mm, and 1.5 mm, for example, for the production of ring bands. Additional extension rollers with other profiles are available as an option.
The electric motor is designed for continuous operation. The rolling speed is infinitely variable from 5 to 20 rpm, and operation is very quiet. The rollers are induction-hardened to 64 HRC, with a hardening depth of 6 mm on the roller body. This ensures a particularly long service life.
Safety features include an emergency stop switch, safety bars on the front and rear of the roller, and protective covers over the extension rollers and the upper gear drive.
The roller should be mounted on a suitable base frame with sufficient load-bearing capacity. For larger cross-sectional reductions, it is recommended to anneal the material between individual rolling passes.
