The CGDE 2000 from Rodent is an electrically powered chain drawing bench with a drawing length of 2000 mm for drawing wire from precious and non-ferrous metals. Rodent has been manufacturing tools and machines for goldsmiths and jewelry makers in Pruszków, Poland, for over 70 years.

The drawing bench stands on sturdy legs and enables smooth, effortless drawing of wire with a diameter of up to 10 mm. The electric chain drive pulls at a constant speed of 7 m/min. This ensures consistent wire quality and significantly reduces the strain on the user compared to hand-operated wire drawing benches, especially when working with larger cross-sections and long lengths of wire.

The chain is equipped with a hook and a chain link for attaching the drawing pliers. Thanks to the long drawing length of 2000 mm, even longer sections of wire can be processed in a single pass. A foot control is available as an option, leaving both hands free to guide the workpiece.

The CGDE 2000 is suitable for goldsmith workshops, manufacturing facilities, and training centers that regularly draw wire.
