This low-profile engraver's cushion provides the ideal working height under your microscope:
When a workpiece requires a lower height, this engraver's cushion offers a generous 152mm of space for a good view and optimum positioning.
This engraver's cushion has the same retaining jaw size and the same capacity as the MagnaBlock, but is approx. 38 mm lower.
The upper half of the ball is rotatable, while the lower half remains stationary.
Add the turntable base (#003-616-V2) be able to rotate the entire engraver's cushion.
Includes the holding plates for the upper clamping jaws, 5 pins, the engraver's cushion, an Allen key, and a chuck key.

Supplied with a non-adhesive, square pad (152 × 152 mm) made of microwavable PTFE material (Teflon) and 450 g Thermo-Loc. 450 g = approx. 60 sticks For all objects that cannot be held with the pliers. The Thermo Loc stick can be heated in a microwave, with a heat blower, or in a heating furnace. Thermo Loc softens at about 60 °C. This kit helps the user create custom-made holding jaws from Thermo-Loc for holding special parts for engraving or gemstone setting. The GRS ID ring holder redefines holding of rings. By tightening the clamping axle, the clamping sleeve is pressed into the clamping cones on both sides. This creates uniform pressure and spreads the clamping sleeve evenly. This holds the ring securely on the inside. When using the standard cone, the tension can be adjusted so that the ring can rotate easily during engraving. In contrast, the clamping cone locks the clamping sleeve so that the ring is held in a fixed position. This allows for secure stone setting.
