Die Apex-Haltestange wurde mit einem 36,3-kg-Magnet aufgerüstet, der sich mit der mitgelieferten Abdeckung stark dämpfen lässt. Die Gesamthöhe der Haltestange wurde für längere Stichel auf 17.8 cm vergrößert. Diese ermöglicht präziseres, wieder holgenaueres Schleifen.
